OUR STORY
Jen Powell. Founder & Owner of Sin Pretty Beauty, brought on-location bridal beauty services to the Youngstown/Northeastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania area 12 years ago. Thirteen years ago Jen lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nevada and then shortly in Pacific Beach, California. She worked as a stylist with an on-location bridal beauty team as well as a colorist at the Salon Bellagio. There, she learned airbrush makeup, luxury hair styling and hair extensions. When she moved back to Youngstown 13 years ago and got engaged to her husband, Donny, she knew just what this area was missing. Jen quickly made herself a website, advertised on The Knot (back when they had only 5 services providers in the entire Cleveland area listed) and got to work convincing everyone that bridal beauty services could be done outside of the salon. It sounds easy, but it wasn't. But, after hustling and doing 7 weddings in her first year, she knew this would work. Year after year she beautified more brides and bridal parties. It was while she was busy getting married and having kids, that she also decided to expand her business into a team. Jen has put together an incredible team of talented, professional and inspired artists. She has personally hired, worked with and trained all of our artists and everyone's work is fantastic. We strive to be the best at what we do, and you'll see that. Our goal is to give you the best beauty experience possible.
